Divisional tennis comes to Havre

The Chinook girls tennis team has dominated the Class B-C state tournament in each of the last three seasons. But the sugarbeeters have been on top of the Northern B-C for even longer.

Thursday and Friday, Chinook will look to keep its reign over the Northern B-C when the Bill Vaughey Memorial Tennis Courts host the 2017 girls divisional tournament.

The tournament, which sends six singles players and four doubles teams to next week's Class B-C state tourney in Missoula, will run each morning in Havre, and feature Chinook, Chester-Joplin-Inverness and Harlem. Of course, the Beeters, of hea...
