Havre Police Department

Acyonna Braan Sponsler of Havre, 23, was arrested on a possession of drug paraphernalia  charge and violations of conditions release after a Sixth Street caller made a suspicious activity report Thursday at 6 a.m.

Officers investigated after a caller near Elks Park reported Thursday at 9:18 a.m that a child’s bike was found in the bushes.

Officers investigated after someone reported Thursday at 10:01 a.m. theft of  services.

Officers assisted another agency with a motor vehicle crash investigation Thursday at 11:34 a.m.

Tanner Joseph Walker of Havre, 34, was arrested on a partner or family member assault charge after a 17th Street West caller reported Thursday at 12:14 p.m. that a male in the house on the right was beating up his wife.

Officers investigated after someone made a shoplifting report Thursday at 1:15 p.m.

Officers assisted a Second Street Northeast caller who reported Thursday at 2:25 p.m. that his door was locked and the taxi driver had a difficult time getting to him.

Officers investigated after a U.S. Highway 2 East caller reported Thursday at 8 p.m. that they found a gun wrapped in a bandana.

Louis J. Morsette Jr. of Havre, 18, was issued a summons on PFMA and assault with a weapon charges after a 15th Avenue caller reported that there was a group of people fighting, and a Third Street caller reported that her son was assaulted.

A 16-year-old juvenile was issued a summons on charges of juvenile curfew violations and underage tobacco possession or consumption.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Acyonna Braan Sponsler of Havre, 23, was arrested on a possession of drug paraphernalia Thursday at 9:06 a.m. at the Hill County Detention Center.

Deputies made an arrest Thursday at 5:56 p.m. near Second Street and Eighth Avenue West. No information about the arrest was provided in the dispatch log.

Deputies investigated after a U.S. Highway 2 West caller reported Thursday at 9:46 p.m. that a bag was found in the middle of the road.

Emergency medical crews responded to five calls Thursday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning a male Australian shepherd and a female border collie-Labrador.

The animal shelter held this morning two short-haired and three medium-haired cats.

A boy was born Thursday, July 6, 2017, to Crystal Russell and Terry Doney of Havre.
