Havre Police Department

A First Street business called officers Monday at 7:27 a.m. to investigate a counterfeit $100 bill.

Daniel Jake Waldner of Havre, 33, was arrested on a charge of theft after a caller at a First Street West business told dispath Monday at 10: 16 a.m. someone had taken a beer into a bathroom, drank the beer, then left without paying.

Officers investigated a Monday 11:32 a.m. report from Northern Montana Hospital of a dog bite that happened on First Street Northeast.

Officers investigated a Monday 12:49 p.m. report from a First Street business of a gas theft involving an older red and black, single cab Chevrolet pickup truck.

Four arrests were made related to a call from Pepin Park Monday at 2:19 p.m. of people drinking and being loud and offensive while children were at the park doing artwork. No further information was provided about the arrests.

Karen Ann Small of Havre, 60, was issued a summons on a charge of vicious dog after a Monday 6:09 p.m. call from First Street about a dog attacking another dog.

Lara Shante Lawrence of Havre, 20, was issued a summons on charges of minor in possession, violation of conditions of release and revocation of a suspended or deferred sentence after a Fourth Street caller asked for assistance Monday at 10:56 p.m. with a girlfriend who was drunk and would not leave.

An officer initiated investigation of suspicious activity at 12:27 a.m. today and issued a summons to an 11-year-old on a charge of juvenile curfew violation.

During a 2:59 a.m. motor vehicle stop today on 5th Avenue, an officer made two arrests. No further information was provided.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Adrian Moses Shawl of Dodson, 25, was arrested on two Justice of City court warrants Monday at 10 a.m. at Hill County Detention Center.

Robert Henry Stump III of Box Elder, 31, was arrested on a state District Court warrant Monday at 12:41 p.m. at the detention center.

Deputies investigated a theft, forgery or fraud reported Monday at 3:09 p.m. at the detention center.

Rick Valdez of Havre, 40, was arrested on a charge of violation of conditions of release after a Bitterroot trailer court caller reported an assault Monday at 8:46 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Monday.

Fire crews responded to a report of a gas smell Monday at 3:07 p.m. on the 100 Block of First Street West and a Monday 5:19 p.m. fire call at the 800 Block of Fourth Street. No one was available at the fire department to provide further details.
