Dorothy was born and raised on her parent's farm south of Havre. She graduated from Havre High School in 1952.

Dorothy married Gerald "Jack" Schubert Aug. 2, 1952, and they lived most of their 65 years in Havre. She enjoyed crocheting crafts and afghans and spent many weekends selling them at local bazaars.

Dorothy enjoyed fishing and camping with her family and friends. After retirement, Dorothy and Jack traveled to Yuma over the winter months.

Her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren were very special to her. Hugs were plentiful when Dorothy was there. She was a very loving and caring wife, Mom, Grandma, Grandma Dot, aunt, cousin, sister-in-law, and friend. Many of us have received many cards from Dorothy over the years.

Dorothy was an active Eagle Auxiliary member for many years, and a member of Saint Jude's Catholic Church.

Dorothy is survived by her Husband Gerald "Jack" Schubert; daughter, Jackie (Tim) Heidlebaugh; son, Jerry (Cindy) Schubert; brother, Jim (Shirley) Tautges; grandchildren, J.T.
