Obituary - Loren D'Arcy Gone

Loren D'Arcy Gone, 37, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017, at his residence.

Wake services will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017, at the new Fort Belknap Agency Community Center, and will continue until his funeral service, which will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Mission Cemetery.

Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Loren was born April 15, 1980, in Havre to Gene and Doris (Youngman) Gone. He was raised in Fort Belknap, attending school in Harlem through junior high. Loren spent his high school years at Chemawa High School in Oregon. Following high school, Loren became a seasonal firefighter, and on the off-season, worked in maintenance, janitorial, and gaming as a floor-runner and in security.

He was a quiet, caring man who enjoyed drawing, sketching, and playing dominos, cards and chess. He was open and honest, and really enjoyed time spent with those close to him. Loren was quite a fun-loving man when in the company of his family. He absolutely adored his daughter, nieces, and nephews and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Calvin Pete and Joyce (Bird Tail) Gone Sr. and William and Stella (Coulter) Youngman Jr.

Loren is survived by his daughter, Trinity Jade Gone of Pontiac, Michigan; his parents, Gene and Doris Gone of Fort Belknap; his sisters, Jeannie (Delwayne Browning) Gone of Poplar and Deidra (Austin) Cochran of Fort Belknap; and numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
