Skylights finish strong

The 2017 season for the Montana State University-Northern volleyball team got off to a shaky start in Denver, Colorado. But the Skylights, of new head coach Rose Obunaga, sure did finish strong.

Northern played its first four matches of the season, which were also the first four of Obunaga’s tenure at MSU-N, at the Johnson & Wales Tournament in Denver, and after sweeps at the hands of Embry-Riddle University Thursday, and the No. 1 team in the NAIA, Hastings College of Nebraska Friday morning, the Skylights were off to a tough 0-2 start.
