The garden of Gladys and Dennis Bymaster

From Bullhook Blossoms

Garden Club

On the corner of 17th Street and Eighth Avenue is a beautiful yard designed by a lovely couple, Gladys and Dennis Bymaster. Bullhook Blossoms Garden Club has chosen their yard on 735 17th Street featured today. Visiting Gladys and Dennis Bymaster's garden was a fun visit providing fresh ideas and inspiration.

Walking up the front steps are two beautiful flower boxes, one on each side of the railing as you are entering their home. The flower boxes are planted with a mixture of coleus and different colored petunias.

Also, beside the front steps in front of the house are delphiniums, beautiful clematis, pink lilies, spiraea, king tut and petunias.

Also welcoming you is a Havre Blue Ponies sign in their garden. Gladys and Dennis Bymaster are retired school teachers.

Gladys taught for 27 years in Warden and at Sunnyside School in Havre. Dennis taught English and was the Havre High School golf coach for 28 years.

Along the east side of the walkway by the house are beautiful sweet potato vines, geraniums, spikes and orange petunias.

There is a light post with climbing purple clamatis. Also in their backyard are numerous beautiful flowers with a variety of yellow daisies, phlox and peonies with the taller plants in the back and the shorter ones in front.

Not only do we thank Gladys and Dennis Bymaster for helping to beautify Havre but also for their service to our community as teachers.
