The Studio of Dance and Arts is doing a fundraiser Thursday at Pizza Hut to help pay for improvements at the studio in the Havre Central Building on Seventh Avenue.

The money will be used to help cover the cost of a new tap floor that was just installed a couple of weeks ago.

All day Thursday, if people mention The Studio of Dance and Arts when making any purchase at Pizza Hut, 20 percent of the total excluding alcohol will go to the fundraiser.

The studio is a nonprofit collaboration of entities in the region that works to promote and provide opportunities for people to learn the performing arts, with a focus on dance.

The group leases the first floor of the Havre Central Building and has been making improvements on the building to use in its teaching and practice of performing arts.

The group has had several performances including its homemade extravaganza last spring retelling a classic children’s tale, Hometown Cinderella Story the dancers performed in Havre High School.
