Officers investigated after a caller near Seventh Avenue and First Street reported Wednesday at 7:03 a.m. a non-injury motor vehicle crash that had happened.

Officers made two arrests during a motor vehicle stop Tuesday at 10:38 a.m. on Second Avenue. No further information on the arrests was listed.

Officers investigated after a Northern Montana Hospital caller reported Tuesday at 4:59 p.m. that a dog had bitten someone.

Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash reported Tuesday at 5 p.m. by a caller near First Street and Montana Avenue.

Shannon Leah Wing of Harlem, 42, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a First Street caller reported a disturbance Tuesday at 7:02 p.m.

Thomas Mathew Dess of Havre, 61, was arrested on a criminal contempt charge related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation Tuesday at 8:08 p.m. at the police station.

Ronald Homacillo Christiansen of Lincoln, 21, was issued a summons on a criminal mischief charge after an 18th Street West caller reported Tuesday at 9:14 p.m. that she’d like a welfare check on her daughter.

Joseph Don Wetsit of Havre, 23, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant Tuesday at 11:20 a.m. at a First Street establishment.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Valene Wing of Lodge Pole, 33, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant Tuesday at 12:36 p.m on the 1200 Block of Boulevard Avenue.

Deputies investigated after a 34th Avenue West caller reported Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. that prescription medication may have been stolen.

A 13-year-old was issued a summons on a charge of disorderly conduct after the Box Elder principal made a complaint Tuesday at 7:58 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Tuesday.

Fire crews responded this morning at 3:31 to the 900 Block of Fourth Street where a dumpster had caught on fire. The fire was put out and the dumpster will have to be replaced. The cause is undetermined.

Fire crews responded this morning at 7 to the 2800 Block of U.S. Highway 2 West where a railroad tie was smoldering. The fire was put out and no further action was necessary.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning one long-haired, five medium-haired and four short-haired cats.

The animal shelter held this morning a female pit bull terrier, a male shepherd-Rottweiler mix and a female border collie dog, as well as four puppies: two male and one female Rottweiler-border collie mix and a Rottweiler.
