Chris Burns, Box Elder Football

The Box Elder Bears have found it tough sledding so far in Northern C 8-man football. But they finally broke through last weekend with a win over the Hays-Lodge Pole Thunderbirds, and multi-purpose standout Chris Burns was a big reason why. Burns rushed for more than 100 yards and two scores in the Bears’ 22-6 win over the T-Birds. Burns, who is also a basketball player for Box Elder, is one of the leaders in the Northern C in total offense and had a huge game against Rocky Boy to open the season.
