The Montana State University-Northern women's rodeo team finished the fall season in third place in the team standings of the Big Sky Region. The Skylights and Lights wrapped up the fall rodeo schedule at last weekend's UM-Western Rodeo in Dillon, while the Northern golf teams finished their fall season Monday-Tuesday at the Warrior Invitational in Lewiston, Idaho.
It seemed like perfect timing for the Montana State University-Northern rodeo and golf teams. Just as snow started to fly, both MSU-N teams were wrapping up their fall season.
The Northern rodeo team, under the direction of head coach Doug Kallenberger, competed in the final fall rodeo of the Big Sky Region last weekend, as the Lights and Skylights were in Dillon for the UM-Western Rodeo.
On the women's side, the Skylights finished an outstanding third with 140 points. Tara Lee Stimpson led the charge for Northern with a fourth-place finish in barrel racing. Stimpson had a best time of 32...
