Hi-Line Athletes of the Week

Katie Donaldson, Havre High Volleyball

Havre High senior libero Katie Donaldson has been one of the Blue Ponies' top defenders all season long. And while she doesn't get in on the offensive action much, Donaldson's serving was a huge weapon in the Blue Ponies' sweep of Conrad Saturday night in Havre. Donaldson served an incredible nine aces to go with a team-high seven digs against the Cowgirls. Donaldson also plays varsity tennis at Havre High.

Jackson Diemert, CJI Football

The Chester-Joplin-Inverness football team was eager to get back in the win column last Saturday, and Jackson Diemert helped them do just that. In a 64-12 win at Box Elder, Diemert threw for three touchdowns, ran for over 100 yards and two more scores, and returned an interception for a touchdown, as well. Diemert has several 100-yard rushing games to his credit this season, as he played part of the year at running back for the Hawks.
