Nine students honored for work in fires

Nine students from Montana State University-Northern will be recognized by the state during Saturday's football game for their work during two major fires in Montana.

Members of Northern's Collegiate Stockgrowers will be honored by The Governor's Office of Community Service and Montana Campus Compact as the Volunteers of the Game during the Lights game against the Rocky Mountain Battlin' Bears for the Stockgrowers volunteer work during the East Fork Fire in the Bear Paw Mountains and the Lodgepole Complex Fire in eastern Montana.
