Letter to the Editor - Storm damage offers possibilities

Dear Editor, 

I look at all at all the downed trees and branches across town and see free firewood, free building supplies, free craft supplies, community activities for a group/club and tax write-offs for a business!

I see wood in all shapes and sizes. I envision a rough-hewn park-bench or plant stand. I imagine a beautifully stained slice of trunk hanging as a wall clock. I see service organizations organizing a truck convoy, hauling branches away. I see businesses using what little is left of this year accruing a write-off for their taxes.
