St. Jude Thaddeus School is inviting people to a new fundraiser with a harvest and Halloween theme — Pumpkin Patch. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today through Sunday in the grassy area between the school and St. Jude Thaddeus Church, St. Jude’s will have a pumpkin patch with pumpkins for sale at $3 to $10 depending on size; a bake sale including whole pies available for $8. Other refreshments also will be available, such as cotton candy, possibly popcorn, and so on.
Handmade pallet decorations will be available for $40.
The Pumpkin Patch also features two raffles with drawings to be held Monday and the holders of the tickets drawn need not be present to win.
One raffle is a 50/50 with tickets selling $5 for 6 or $10 for an arm length.
The other is a gun raffle for a limited edition Ruger .22, Laser x Woodstock with tickets $10 each.
The event also features hay rides, carnival games, and a few spots for people to take their own fall photos and a free small petting zoo.
“We encourage everyone to tag us @ #stjudehappyharvest,” school staff said.
All proceeds will go to St. Jude’s Home and School organization, which will operate similarly to a parent-teacher organization.
