Letter to the Editor - City of Havre should be smarter with money

City of Havre,

You have said, per Havre Daily News’ last Monday’s article, you are going to spend $131,000 for cleanup of storm damage and snow removal.

Wouldn’t that money be better spent, buying snow plows for our city trucks and buying our own bucket truck? Another storm will always hit our town, wouldn’t it be better to be prepared? Instead of always looking to raise our property taxes?

I wish we could be smarter with the tax payers money and not always looking for more.
