Northern football coach steps down

Montana State University-Northern third-year head coach Aaron Christensen resigned, effectively immediately, this morning. Northern won just two games during Christensen's tenure at MSU-N. The Lights have three games remaining this season, including a battle with Carroll College this Saturday at Blue Pony Stadium.

Once again, the Montana State University-Northern football program will be looking for a new head coach.

This morning, third-year head coach Aaron Christensen resigned, effectively immediately.

Christensen's resignation comes on the heels of Northern's 93-19 loss at Montana Tech last Saturday, in which the Orediggers set several NAIA offensive records, and the result garnered national attention from the likes of ESPN and Bleacher Report.
