Obituary - Clinton L. "Clint" Dumas

Clinton L. “Clint” Dumas, 66, of Havre, passed away Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017, at Benefis Hospital in Great Falls.

A graveside service with military honors will be 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, 2017, at Highland Cemetery in Havre. Cremation has taken place in the care of O’Connor Funeral Home.

Clint was born May 2, 1951, in Havre, MT, the son of Forrest and Marian (Seidel) Dumas. He attended schools in Havre and graduated from Havre High School in 1969. Clint worked various jobs before entering the U.S. Navy in 1971 serving on the USS Sea Wolf. Following his discharge in July of 1977, he returned to work at the family ranch on Big Sandy Creek.

He met Gwen Struck and later married June 7, 1986, at First Lutheran Church in Havre. Clint worked odd jobs before going to work for the Hill County Road Department. Clint retired in August 2015 and continued to live in Havre.

Clint is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn (Struck) Dumas of Havre; brother, Calvin Dumas of Arizona; two nieces and three nephews; and numerous cousins, aunts and three uncles.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
