Hi-Line Athletes of the Week

Kadia Miller, Havre High X-Country

Havre High sophomore Kadia Miller made sure her last race of the fall was one of her best. For the second year in a row, Miller posted a Class A All-State finish, as she wound up 12th at the state meet earlier this month in Helena. Miller ran of 20:33.32 in the meet, which put her in the Top 15 yet again. Miller, who also competes in basketball at HHS, will return to cross country next fall as one of the top runners in Class A. Her finish also helped the Ponies to a sixth-place in the Class A team standings.

Trey Murphy, Havre High Football

Havre High senior quarterback Trey Murphy fought to the very end of the 2017 season football season. In his final game as a Blue Pony, Murphy threw for 177 yards last month against the Miles City Cowboys. Murphy finished the season with 12 touchdown passes, and over 1,000 yards passing for the second year in a row. His efforts earned him Central A All-Conference honors for the second season in a row as well. Murphy is also a senior member of the HHS boys basketball team, and a returning All-Conference performer for the Havre High boys tennis team.
