Musical production set for two-week run at Havre High School Theatre
Xavier Ulano as the young Tarzan and the chorus of apes act in a scene Tuesday during a rehearsal of the Havre High School production of Disney's "Tarzan." The play opens Friday at 7:30 p.m. with performances at 7:30 p.m. this Saturday as well as Friday and Saturday, Nov. 17-18. A matinée is set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18.

The Havre High School drama department is bringing the jungles of Africa from Broadway to the high school this and next weekend with its production of Disney's "Tarzan."
The Broadway play is an adaptation of the 1999 Disney movie "Tarzan," based on Edgar Rice Burroughs' 1912 novel "Tarzan of the Apes."
The play tells the story of an infant stranded in the jungles of Africa with his father and mother. After his parents die, the infant is adopted by the ape Kala and raised as a member of the band of apes to which she belongs.
