Letter to the Editor - Hands off our money

With a final deadline coming very soon and a final payment disbursement of the remaining Pembima Monies, I hope it goes to The People and not stolen like our monies were by the corrupt tribal council here (at Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation) on the Cobell Pay out. We got $300 from an allocated $1,492 per capita. From that money, they gave themselves a $30,000 incentive raise. The mere fact that three councilmen refused taking it shows that it was immoral and not right or they would have taken it themselves.

The tribe owes each tribal member $1,192 dollars. Let’s hope they are...
