Casino embezzler's sentencing postponed to investigate accomplices

A Havre woman's sentencing hearing has been reset so she can provide police with information about accomplices in a $45,000 embezzling scheme from Crystal City and Hi-line Gold casinos.

Kyra Lynne Gerber, born in 1988, who will be ordered to pay $45,530 in restitution for two felony counts of theft by embezzlement she pleaded guilty to early September, is set to be sentenced Jan. 8 at 10 a.m. in District Court in Havre.

Investigation of Gerber's theft started Sept. 19, 2016, after one of the operators of Crystal City Casino and Hi-Line Gold Casino reported to the Havre Police Department...
