Officers investigated after a Second Avenue caller reported Wednesday at 7:42 a.m. that a stray silver mountain bike was in their yard.

Officers arrested Adrian Louis Corcoran of Havre, 26, on a criminal contempt charge Wednesday at the police department in relation to tardiness to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation.

Officers arrested Charlene Renae Gardipee of Great Falls, 28, on a driving under the influence charge after a Third Street West caller reported Wednesday at 9:51 a.m. that there was a woman in the parking lot slumped over the steering wheel in her car.

Officers investigated after a 10th Avenue caller reported Wednesday at 1:26 p.m. that someone stole her black lion lawn ornament.

Officers arrested Marlon Gerard Stiffarm of Havre, 33, on charges of speeding and driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license Wednesday at 3:24 p.m. during a motor vehicle stop on First Street.

Officers investigated after a caller reported Wednesday at 9:22 p.m. that his cellphone was stolen at a restaurant.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated after a Sixth Street North caller reported Wednesday at 8:09 a.m. that a license plate had been stolen.

Deputies investigated a theft, forgery or fraud report after a call Wednesday at 12:08 p.m.

Deputies issued a summons to Angel Lee Topsky of Box Elder, 34, on a shoplifting charge after a U.S. Highway 2 West business caller reported a shoplifter Wednesday at 4:41 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical crews responded to two calls Wednesday and one early today

Emergency fire crews responded this morning at 5:37 to the 400 Block of First Street West where a grease fire caused minimal damage to a building. The fire was extinguished before anyone was hurt.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning three medium-haired, one long-haired and two short-haired cats.

The animal shelter held this morning a female pit bull terrier, a male shepherd, and two male and one female Labrador retrievers.
