Lindsey Reichelt, licensed clinical social worker at Bullhook Community Health Center, will present another parenting class at the health center starting Wednesday, Jan. 10.

The sessions from from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. each Wednesday in Bullhook’s Jon Tester Conference Room for eight weeks, and people taking the classes must attend all sessions.

The dates of the subsequent classes are Jan. 17, 24 and 31 and Feb. 7, 14, 21 and 28.

The classes teach new and effective ways to parent their children through the Circle of Security® Parenting™ program, which is based on decades of research on how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened, a flyer describing the program says.

It says the learning objectives of the program are:

• Understanding a child’s emotional world by learning to read the emotional needs

• Supporting a child’s ability to successfully manage emotions

• Enhancing the development of a child’s self esteem

• Honoring a person’s innate wisdom and desire for their child to be secure

The program costs $43 a week with many insurance policies covering the cost, the flyer says. Child and Protective Service clients are welcome, it says.

People can register by calling 395-4305 or emailing [email protected].
