Havre Police Department

Officers arrested David Perez of Havre, 42, on a Justice or City court warrant Thursday at 9:22 a.m. near 11th Street West.


Officers investigated a reported noninjury motor vehicle crash after a caller at Third Street and Seventh Avenue notified police Thursday at 11:03 a.m.


Officers arrested James Fleury Buck of Harlem, 24, on charges of assault, endangering the welfare of children and disorderly conduct on First Street after a First Street West business caller reported Thursday at 12:46 p.m. that people were fighting.


Officers arrested Linda Corena Gonyea of Havre, 53, on charges of driving under the influence and driving without insurance on Fourth Avenue, after she reported Thursday at 5:49 a.m. that officers were needed because someone spanked her grandkids.


Officers investigated after a 16th Street caller reported Thursday at 7:39 p.m. that he was missing a wood-burning stove.


Officers arrested Frankie Leigh Rainingbird of Box Elder, 23, on a Justice or City court warrant after a U.S. Highway 2 West business caller reported Thursday at 9:28 p.m. that there was some suspicious activity happening in a room.


Officers issued a summons to Davis William Cravens of Glasgow, 20, on charges of careless driving, driving without driver’s license, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, motor vehicle recovered for another agency and violations of conditions release today at 12:47 a.m. after an officer checked on a vehicle that was stuck in the snow on Third Avenue and Seventh Street.


Officers made an investigation to assist another agency today at 3:41 a.m.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies arrested Joshua Daniel Kaupang of Havre, 34, after a River Road caller reported this morning at 3:28 a.m. that there were three suspicious males. The charges were not available.

Havre Fire Department

Medical crews responded to five calls Thursday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning three medium-haired and two short-haired cats.


The animal shelter held this morning a female Labrador retriever, a female Australian-shepherd-border collie mix, a female pit bull terrier and a female Lhasa apso.
