Hi-Line Girls Roundup: Bears, Wildcats win key rivalry games

Christmas break has arrived, but it didn't come before a very busy week of Hi-Line high school girls basketball.

Last week's action got underway Monday night when the Turner Tornadoes started a strong run of back-to-back wins by defeating Chester-Joplin-Inverness 66-37 in a District 9C game in Turner. The Tornadoes pulled away from the Hawks via a 19-9 run in the third quarter.

Shyan Krass scored a game-high 18 points for Turner, while Sarah Billmayer added 17. Korrin Harmon led the Hawks with nine points.
