HPSEF 13th Annual Holiday Hoops Blue Pony alumni game fun for all

It was a cold, snowy evening Tuesday, Dec. 26, at Havre Middle School.

Havre High School Alumni started showing up to play basketball followed by many fans to cheer them on.

The alumni who enjoyed some friendly competition included Patch Wirtzberger, Grayson Winsor, C.J. Evans, Tanner Veis, Kade Rismon, Jared Boles, Austin After Buffalo, Tony Filler, Jake Sedahl, Jase Stokes, Erin Patera, Jason Castillion, Ryan Divish, John Shennum, Nate Korb, Jacob Labrie, Jace Kato, Anfernee Standing Rock, Tanner Lowe, Tray Trahant, Nate Rismon, Sam Lippy, Miles Mazurkiewicz, Morgan Mazurkiewicz and Torie Mazurkiewicz.

The Havre Public School Education Foundation Board of Directors would like to thank these young men and women for entertaining the crowd. Also to thank are the time/score keeper, Board of Directors member Kyle Leeds, and Havre Middle School for the use of the gym and for opening the concession stand for beverages and snacks for the spectators.

Any proceeds from sale of the concessions went to HMS Activity Fund.

Thanks to Culligan for providing water for the players and New Media Broadcasters and Havre Daily News for helping inform the public of the game. Of course, the fans contributed to the evening with their presence and several boxes of non-perishable food items to be donated to Havre Food Bank. Another thank you to Patch Wirzberger and Grayson Winsor, their organizational skills get the players together and run the game during the evening. If not for these two community-minded alumni the games would not be much of a success.

The HPSEF Board of Directors are proud to have sponsored the 13th Annual Holiday Hoops Game, we are pleased to see the players and fans come together for a fun evening.
