Local News - Library winter reading series starts

The staff members of the Havre-Hill County Library have invited people to join them for the 2018 Winter Reading Series.

The theme this year is Banned Books. The discussions are free and open to the public.

Light refreshments will be served.

The schedule is: 

Jan. 25 at 7 p.m.: “The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian,” by Sherman Alexie. Discussion led by Sandra Wilson.

Feb. 8 at 7 p.m.: “Persepolis,” by Marjane Satrapi. Discussion led by Caleb Hutchins.

Feb. 22 at 7 p.m.: “The Kite Runner,” by Khaled Hosseni. Discussion led by Will Rawn.

March 8 at 7 p.m.: “The Glass Castle,” by Jeannette Walls. Discussion led by Rachel Rawn.

March 22 at 7 p.m.: “The Bluest Eye,” by Toni Morrison. Discussion led by Bonnie Williamson.
