Havre Police Department

Officers investigated after a 10th Avenue caller reported a scam Wednesday at 9:03 a.m.


Officers arrested or issued a summons to someone during a motor vehicle stop on 17th Street Wednesday at 3:24 p.m.


Officers arrested Codie Darwin Nalder of Havre, 23, on a Justice or City court warrant and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge after a Third Street caller reported Wednesday at 4:01 p.m. the presence of marijuana smell.


Shantell Mikal Wirtzberger of Havre, 30, was issued a summons on an obstructing a peace officer or other public servant charge after a 17th Street caller reported Wednesday at 6:08 p.m. that debris from a crash had been left in the street.


Officers arrested Shane Miles Ironmaker of Havre, 30, on charges of aggravated driving under the influence, stop sign violation and possession of drug paraphernalia during a motor vehicle stop on Fourth Avenue today at 2:10 a.m.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated after someone requested a trespass notice Wednesday at 2:25 p.m.


Deputies served a warrant to and arrested Makray Lane Demontiney of Rocky Boy, 29, on a state District Court warrant at the Hill County Detention Center at 4:40 p.m. Wednesday.

Havre Fire Department

Medical crews responded to seven calls Wednesday and one today.


Fire crews responded to the 10 Block of Third Street West Wednesday at 9:50 a.m. to assist police. No further information was given.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning three medium-haired, three short-haired and one long haired cats.


The animal shelter held this morning a female pit bull terrier, a female Labrador retriever, a female akbash- Australian-shepherd mix dog, a male pit bull-Labrador retriever, a male American bulldog-pit bull terrier, a female pug and a female pit bull terrier-spaniel mix.


A boy was born Monday, January 8, 2018, to Misty Brooks Denny and Gerald Jerome Small of Havre.
