Former Havre Blue Pony Jase Stokes headed to MSU-Northern to wrestle

Jase Stokes is one of the most decorated wrestlers to ever come out of the famed Havre Blue Pony program. Now, he’s coming back to the wrestling mats where he grew up — this time, as a Montana State University-Northern Light.
Northern head coach Tyson Thivierge announced Wednesday that the former Class A four-time state champion has transferred from Montana Tech to Northern. Stokes was a red-shirt for the Oredigger football team this past fall, but said, the pull to wrestling never left him.
