Press release

Junior Tony Antley is one of Havre High School's December students of the month.

The son of Joanne and Brett Antley, Tony has one older sibling, Ryne, who is 21.

Tony's school activities include football and speech and debate. Outside the classroom, Tony works at Havre Hardware and Home, plays baseball for the Havre North Stars, spends time working at his father's store, and enjoys hanging out with his friends.

Tony was nominated by Luke Thompson because he "is always involved in lively discussions [and] works hard in the classroom." Thompson said Tony is also "showing growth as a champion debater and is only going to get better."

After high school, Tony plans to go to college and major in secondary education and hopes to eventually teach either history or math.

The other December Student of the Month at Havre High is sophomore Junia Holland.

The daughter of Brad and Rachael Holland, Junia has two younger siblings, 13-year-old Bradi and 12-year-old Clara.

Junia's school activities include Key Club and Spanish Club. Outside the classroom she works at the Havre Dental Group and enjoys playing hockey and being a member of 4-H.

Junia was nominated by Travis Aline because she "is an impressive young woman who continuously sets the standard for her peers." Aline said Junia "has a quiet leadership about her" and "her polite personality and calming presence in the classroom demonstrate how mature she truly is."

After high school, Junia plans to attend college, and then go into the medical field.
