Letter to the Editor - Article was sensationalism

Only the first two paragraphs of the Feb. 5, 2018, article which reported the lockdown at St. Jude’s were what I would consider “news-worthy.”

The rest of the article was simply an attempt at sensationalism aimed at getting more people to read this article. In a small community such as this, it isn’t terribly difficult to figure out who the other party in the custody dispute is, but you felt the need to name them, along with allegations that have already been deemed unfounded.

Dragging this family through the mud during an already emotional and difficult time is reprehensible and shows a distinct lack of care for anything other than your bottom line.
