Officers investigated after a First Street caller reported Thursday at 6:57 a.m. a motor vehicle crash between a Dodge pickup truck and a Ford Escort.

Officers investigated after a Havre High School caller reported Thursday at 8:54 a.m. that a plow and a vehicle collided. No injuries were reported.

Officers investigated after a First Street business caller reported Thursday at 10:04 a.m. that someone had committed fraud and stolen 18 TVs.

Officers issued a summons to Kendra Ames-Sagen of Libby, 33, on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia after a U.S. Highway 2 Northeast caller made a report Thursday at 10:44 a.m.

Officers investigated after a First Street caller reported Thursday at 4:15 p.m. a motor vehicle crash.

Officers arrested Caleb Logan Denny of Rocky Boy, 20, on two Justice or City court warrants after a 22nd Avenue West caller reported Thursday at 7:50 p.m. that there was a disturbance with her son.

Officers arrested Richard James Forguson of Malta, 24, on an assault charge after a First Street Northeast caller reported Thursday at 10:30 p.m. that he was assaulted.

Officers arrested Acyonna Braan Sponsler of Havre, 23, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing a peace officer, as well as three Justice or City court warrants, today at 3:23 a.m. on First Street.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

The Sheriff’s Office did not provide a dispatch log today.

Montana Highway Patrol

Troopers responded to a crash Thursday at 1:36 p.m. on U.S. Highway 2 near mile marker 424 where a Chevy sedan and a pickup collided as a result of slick roads. The drivers of both vehicles were take to Indian Health Services for medical attention. They were released the same day. The vehicles incurred severe damage.

Havre Fire Department

Medical crews responded to four calls Thursday.

Fire crews responded to two calls Thursday, each prompted by a malfunctioning alarm. One call came in at 1:30 p.m. from the 10 Block of Third Street, the other came in at 7:19 p.m. on the 1800 Block of Second Street. In both instances the alarm was reset. No further action was necessary.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning one long-haired, one Calico, four short-haired, and six medium-haired cats.

The animal shelter held this morning a female Labrador-retriever, a female akbash-Australian shepherd cross and five female Rottweiler-shepherd crosses — four of them puppies.
