Officers investigated a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation Wednesday at 9:50 a.m.

Officers investigated after a caller reported Wednesday at 10:59 a.m. that a pickup truck hit his car.

Officers investigated after a Wilson Avenue caller reported Wednesday at 12:06 p.m. that a ladder was stolen from his pickup.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies issued a summons to Jake DeShane Phillips of Havre, 32, for a charge of dog at large after a U.S. Highway 2 West business caller reported Wednesday at 9:09 a.m. that there was a husky with an orange collar in the parking lot.

Deputies investigated after a U.S. Highway 87 South business caller made a theft or forgery or fraud report Wednesday at 10:03 a.m.

Officers assisted another agency Wednesday at 12:33 p.m. at the Havre City-County airport in an incident that involved someone who came to Havre after flying in. There was no incident on the airplane.

Deputies arrested Nichole Marie Cartwright of Havre, 34, on charges of shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia after a U.S. Highway 2 West business caller reported Wednesday at 1:20 p.m. a female shoplifter.

Deputies served a warrant to and arrested Steven Allen Rawlins of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, 33, on a state District Court warrant Wednesday at 2:45 p.m. at the Hill County Detention Center.

Deputies made an arrest or issued a summons in regards to a temporary restraining order violation Wednesday at 4:13 p.m. on U.S. Highway 87 northbound.

Deputies arrested two people Wednesday at 11:33 p.m. at a U.S. Highway 2 West business. Joshua Daniel Kaupang, 34, and Jacob Jobe Barrows, 19, both of Havre, were each arrested on criminal trespass to property charges and each a Justice or City court warrant.

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held five medium-hair cats, four whose sex is listed as “unknown,” one female; one female and two male short-hair cats; and one female long-hair cat.

The shelter this morning held a 1-year-6-month-old female Australian shepherd, a 1-year-old male Labrador retriever-pug mixed-breed, a male 11-month-old German shepherd, a 7-month-old pit bull-hound mix, two male mixed breed dogs, one 2 years, the other 9-month-old, and a 6-year-old female labrador retriever.
