Legal Tip - Free credit report available once a year

Montana Legal Services Association

Did you know that you can get a free copy of your credit report once every 12 months?

Banks, insurance companies, landlords and employers use your credit report when reviewing your application for a loan, insurance, a job, or a rental. Keeping an eye on your credit report can help you spot any mistakes, including possible identity theft. You have rights if there is anything wrong on your credit report. Find your credit report at https://www.annualcreditreport.com or call 1-877-322-8228.
