Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a Monday 10:29 a.m. report of a vandalized car on Grant Avenue.

Officers were called to a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business Monday at 12:32 p.m. to investigate a white crystal substance found in a bag.

Officers investigated a report at the police station at 12:45 p.m. Monday report of some stolen disks.

An arrest was made during a Monday 4:58 p.m. vehicle stop on First Street, but no further details were provided.

Officers investigated a report from 11th Street Monday at 8:40 p.m. of a girl coming into the caller’s house and “beating up her kid.”

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Myron Scott Michel of Box Elder, 49, was arrested on a state District Court warrant at the detention center Monday at 1:55 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Monday and one today.

Fire crews responded to a gas leak call on the 400 Block of Fifth Avenue. A leak was detected in the furnace, and NorthWestern Energy turned it off until a repair could be made.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held six medium-hair cats whose sex is listed as “unknown,” one medium-hair male cat, and one female and two male short-hair cats.

The shelter held this morning a male 4-year-old Australian shepherd-Labrador retriever cross, a 1-year-3-month-old female Australian shepherd, a 1-year-1-month-old male Labrador retriever-pug cross, an 8-month-old female German shepherd, a 6-year-1-month-old female Labrador retriever and a 5-year-old female Australian shepherd.
