Another Leadership High School class graduates in Havre

Terry and Ellingson were amongh 19 Havre HIgh School juniors who shadowed various jobs Tuesday morning as part of Leadership High School.

After a morning spent job shadowing in the last month of preparing life skills, 19 Havre High School juniors graduated from Leadership High School Tuesday.

The program started in 2000 and is put on by the Havre Area Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with Havre High School to give students enrolled some extra education in preparing for adult life, Chamber Executive Director Jody Olson said.

"(It gives them) a snapshot of life outside of school and maybe shows them some skills and job opportunities," she said.
