Northern rodeo teams a week away from the start of the spring season
Montana State University-Northern will host an open rodeo Saturday night at the Bigger Better Barn. The Northern rodeo teams start their spring season next weekend in Bozeman.
The Montana State University-Northern rodeo team is gearing up for the start of the 2018 Big Sky Region spring season. But, before the season officially gets underway next weekend, Northern will host an event inside the Bigger Better Barn.
Saturday night, Northern will host an open rodeo, featuring steer wrestling, saddle bronc, bull riding, tie-down roping, breakaway roping and barrel roping. There will also be goat-tying as well as plenty of prizes, including Buckle Series Champions awards.
The rodeo is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. with an admission price of $5, while kids enter free....
