Havre Middle School names students of month

Havre Middle School's Sixth-Grade Student of the Month for March is Kyanna Jarvis.

Kyanna is the daughter of Richard and Tamecia Jarvis.  She has one brother, Mekhi Jarvis, and one sister, Amaya Jarvis.

Kyanna is a part of the track team and plays intramural basketball for HMS.  She also enjoys other sports like soccer, volleyball, softball and tumbling. In her spare time, she hangs out with family and friends.

At the middle school, Kyanna has a great upbeat personality. She is very proactive and seeks out answers when clarification is needed. Kyanna also goes out of her way to help others in any way possible. Her hard work ethic and kindness is a great model for other students at Havre Middle School.

Kyanna strives to receive high academic marks to attend college after high school.

March's Seventh-Grade Student of the Month is Alexa Squires.

Alexa is the daughter of Tim and Kim Nixdorf.  She has two siblings, Treasure Squires and Jonah Nixdorf.

Alexa participates in Jazz Band at HMS. Outside of school Alexa dances tap at The Studio of Dance and Art. She also loves being around family and friends.

At school, Alexa has a positive attitude and is a joy to be around. Her teachers commend her on how she makes teaching such a pleasure. She is always very attentive and ready for whatever comes her way. Her smile lights up the school and makes it a great place for everyone.

In the future Alexa plans to attend college and become a teacher.

Grace Crantz is HMS' Eighth-Grade Student of the Month for March.

Grace is the daughter of Jessica and Pete Stiffarm and Frank Crantz.  She has three brothers, Taymond, Peter Stiffarm Jr. and Frank Crantz Jr.

Grace is a part of the National Junior Honor Society and MBI Youth Committee. She also plays volleyball and participates in the band at Havre Middle School. In her free time, Grace loves volunteering, listening to music, journal writing and spending time with her family.

At the middle school, Grace goes above and beyond the call of duty. She is very committed to her academics and completes tasks thoroughly in a timely manner. Her dedication at school shows pride in all she does. Grace's hard work demonstrates what having "Pony Pride" is all about.  These qualities she possesses will take her very far in life. 

Grace's future aspirations are to attend an Ivy League university and travel the world to do humanitarian work.
