Beverly Rusch

Beverly "Bev" Anne Jamieson Rusch passed away at her home April 3, 2018.

Bev was born Aug. 15, 1929, in Park River, North Dakota, to Anne Johnson and James W. R. Jamieson The first 10 years of her life she lived with her family in Hogeland, Montana. She graduated from Chinook High School in 1947.

Arthur Eugene Rusch and Beverly were married after he returned from serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II. They were married for 56 years. Both Art and Beverly were true patriots. Beverly had four children, Cynthia Anne, James Richard, Marcia Fay and Marilyn Kay. Beverly had a successful business career as the office manager of Jamieson Motors, Inc. for 45 years. She loved and lived in Chinook all her life.

The lives she touched and the impact she had on those lives is fascinating and impressive. If you talk to her family and friends you will hear countless stories of her zest for life. She loved and was proud of her large family. She had a true love for all music, her favorite singer being Frank Sinatra. She loved to tell jokes, but unfortunately could never remember how many of the jokes ended and had to pull out a piece of paper and read the punch line. Still, everyone laughed!

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; her parents, Anne and Jim Jamieson, and Loretta and Dick Rusch; brothers, Don and Keith Jamieson, John Rusch; sister Marion Rusch Gray; nephew Jim Jamieson, and great-grandson Austin Bucklin.

Survivors include her children; Cynthia (Dave) Illingworth, Irvine, CA, Richard (Pat) Rusch, Bozeman, Marcia (Frank) Overcast, Chinook and Marilyn (Steve) McLain, Havre; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister Avis Wilcox Jamieson; cousin Anon Forrest; and many nieces and nephews.
