Martin Wilkie, Havre Wrestling

Havre High junior Martin Wilkie had a fantastic wrestling season, which concluded with a third straight Class A state championship. But February wasn't the end for Wilkie. Last Saturday-Sunday, Wilkie competed at the Flo Reno Worlds in Reno, Nevada, and brought home the 132-pound championship. Wilkie defeated the Washington 4A state champion in the final bout, and next year he'll look to become Havre's third four-time state champion in the program's history.

Kadyn Acor, Havre Tennis

It's been a rough start to the area high school tennis season, but HHS junior Kadyn Acor is off to a strong start in spite of the weather. Acor won two matches at No. 2 singles for the Blue Pony girls at last weekend's duals in Cut Bank, which made up for the canceled Havre Invitational. Acor also won twice in Cut Bank back on March 24. Acor is in her third year of varsity tennis and is also a standout on the volleyball court for the Blue Ponies.
