Lance Anthony Pitkanen of Chinook, 35, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants while at the probation and parole office Tuesday at 8:23 a.m.

Robert Henry Stump III of Box Elder, 31, was arrested on a charge of probation violation after a caller at a First Street establishment reported a man who shouldn’t be there being in the bar Tuesday at 10:11 p.m.

Officers investigated a Tuesday 11:10 p.m. report of $400 cash stolen from the Center Street caller’s room.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Anthony Garren Azure of Havre, 19, was arrested on a state District Court warrant after being transported from Rocky Boy Police Department to Hill County Detention Center Tuesday at 10:11 a.m.

Deputies made an arrest after a U.S. Highway 2 West business caller reported a male shoplifter Tuesday at 11:32 a.m., but no details were provided on the arrest.

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Tuesday.

This morning the shelter held four medium-hair cats whose sex is listed as “unknown,” three medium-hair male cats, one medium-hair female cat, and one female short-hair cat.

The shelter held this morning a 1-year-6-month-old male Labrador retriever-pit bull terrier cross, a 10-month-old male Australian shepherd, a 4-year-old female German shepherd-Labrador retriever cross, a 1-year-2-month-old male Labrador retriever-Boston terrier cross, a 5-year-old female Australian shepherd and 5-year-old male Husky.
