With the Havre Lions Invite cancelled, HHS track teams will hope to make their debut Monday in Glasgow
Havre's Jakob Keller runs in the 2017 Havre Lions Invitational last April. On that day, temperatures soared to over 60 degrees. A year later, the Havre Lions Invite has been canceled the snow still hasn't fully melted off the Havre Middle School Track.
As a whole, the city of Havre has gotten a break from the snow in recent days. But all the damage that was done to the Havre Middle School track with record of levels of snow, is still being undone and in large part because of that, the Havre Lions track meet won't take place this weekend.
The annual track meet was scheduled for Saturday at the Havre Middle School track, but the surface just isn't ready for competition. It is the second time a meet that was supposed to be held in Havre has wound up being rescheduled. The other was the Cal Wearley Track Meet, which is scheduled for April 24...
