Ponies make strides in Whitefish

As the Havre High track teams steamroll toward the Glasgow Top 10 meet Tuesday, the Blue Ponies tested their strength against the Western part of the state last Saturday at the Whitefish A.R.M. Invitational.

The annual meet, which featured teams from Class AA, Class A and Class B, was swept by Glacier, which won the boys meet with 261 points and the girls meet with 115. The Havre boys finished seventh with 16 points, while the Pony girls were sixth with a respectable 49 points. Whitefish took second in both the boys and girls meets behind Glacier.
