Lt. gov. awards HHS class for recycling projects

Montana's lieutenant governor was at Havre High School Monday to reward a class for its work in environmentalism.

Lt. Gov. Mike Cooney presented a $1,000 check to juniors and seniors in an environmental science class of Havre High teacher Rebecca Reno.

The class was one of 13 in the state to receive a grant from the SMART - Saving Money and Resources Today - Schools Challenge.

Reno's class was one of four in the state given the award in the SMART Recycling Challenge category, now in its fourth year.
