Connie Dobrenz, a food service worker at Sunnyside, shakes Havre Public Schools Trustee Harvey Capellen's hand as he congratulates her for her 40 years of work for the Havre Public School system Tuesday at the Employee Recognition Celebration event.
Tuesday night among dessert, coffee and music, the employees of Havre Public Schools were recognized for all they do.
The Employee Recognition Celebration was held in the Havre High School gym and started with a dessert social at 6:30 p.m. followed by an awards program which celebrated both classified employees and teachers.
The conclusion of the celebration included a thank-you from Superintendent Andy Carlson.
"Consistency isn't flash," Carlson said, "but it is essential."
He added that children need that consistency at school; they need to know that they will see someone with a smile...
