Northern wrestling team honored for academics
The 2017-18 Montana State University-Northern wrestling team posted the third-highest GPA in the NAIA this past season, and was honored with NWCA All-Academic Team honors recently.
The Montana State University-Northern wrestling team is coming off an outstanding season. And head coach Tyson Thivierge has kept it going with the building of an outstanding recruiting class for 2018.
Thivierge announced two more signings earlier this week, in 125-pounder Caleb Frank from Thompson Falls and 157-pounder Thomas Stevenson from Wailuku, Hawaii.
Frank is a three-time Montana state placer and 2018 state champion who was once coached by Northern Alumni Austin Ouellette.
