A caller at a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business reported a vehicle crash Thursday at 4 p.m.

A Wilson Street caller reported at 1:46 a.m. Thursday people knocking on doors and looking in windows.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies arrested someone at Hill County Detention Center on a warrant Thursday at 4:38 p.m., but no details were provided.

Russell Gene Russette of Box Elder, 54, was arrested on charges of trespass to property, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia and on a Justice or City court warrant after a First Street East, Box Elder, caller reported suspicious activity Thursday at 10:29 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two medical calls Thursday and fire crews responded Thursday to two alarms that required no action — one was a battery issue in a carbon-monoxide detector, the other a faulty alarm.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held two medium-hair cats with sex listed as “unknown,” three medium-hair female cats, three medium-hair male cats and one female short-hair cat.

The shelter also held this morning a 21-week-old male American Staffordshire Terrier, a 4-year-1-month-old female German shepherd-Labrador retriever cross, a 4-year-old female border terrier-terrier cross, a 1-year-3-month-old male Labrador retriever-Boston terrier cross, a 15-week-old male Australian shepherd and a 21-week-old male Labrador retriever.
