Havre Daily News/Colin Thompson Dylan Miller of North Star, pictured above, runs a race in Havre at the Cal Wearley track meet last month. Miller was a key part of the Knights charge Thursday at the Northern C Divisional, as the North Star boys won their first divisional championship in any sport since the school was founded in 2005-06.
No matter the sport, the Northern C is always super competitive. But Thursday in Great Falls at the Northern C Divisional track meet, it was the District 9C and the North Star Knights who stole the show.
The North Star boys, who won the District 9C title last week in Havre for the fifth straight year, did something no boys athletics team has done since the inception of North Star and that's win a divisional championship. The Knights finished first with 82 points, beating Belt, which finished with 70 points, thanks to incredible efforts by Dylan Miller, Devon Miller and Caden Rettig. Turner...
