The Associated Press reports U.S. Customs and Border Protection said Monday that officials are reviewing an encounter in Havre last week between a Border Patrol agent and two women who were speaking Spanish at a gas station, one of whom said she is planning to file a complaint because of their treatment.
Allegations have been made before of law-enforcement officers in Montana racially profiling people to find out their immigration status.
